Hi, my name is Jane and I live just outside Newport in South Wales, approximately 30 minutes from the Severn Bridge, with my husband and 2 children. Our prefix is Kamkai which is a combination of Kameko and Kaiya our 2 foundation queens. I have always been fascinated with the Siamese breed, I think most people, like me, fell in love with them years ago on the Disney classic 'Lady and the Tramp'. Siamese are nothing like those terrors on that film, they are elegant, loving and friendly cats. They play fetch, they talk to you when they want something and have those wonderful blue eyes.
Oriental's are basically siamese in a solid coat. They have the same graceful bodies but come in a variety of different solid colours, some people think Siamese and Orientals are great talkers, but only if they want something, they are both laid back and extremely friendly cats.
I was first introduced to the Tonkinese breed whilst taking my Siamese queen to be mated. They are fascinating cats. No matter what you are doing in the house, they have to be involved. They are the most inquisitive cats I have ever come across, always wanting to be in your business, and they will talk your ear off when they want something. I would like to thank Bryn Catteries for introducing me to this wonderful breed and for allowing me to be owned by our queen Kaiya. Most Burmese breeders that I meet have told me that the reason I love the Tonkinese so much is because of the Burmese that is in them. So what better way to find out about the Burmese cat but to own one. Thank you, once again to Mary and Keith Rodgers of Bryn Catteries for trusting me with your special brown burmese girl. See pictures on our Queens page. (I think my husband will ban me from visiting them in the future).
All of our kittens are born and bred in our living room and are handled from birth. Please check our kittens page to see available kittens. We are continually adding new features to our site, so if you have any suggestions or anything that you would like to see, please complete our feedback form on our contacts page.
