Tonkinese Kittens...

Introducing the 'Decisions''

Born between the hours of 1am and 3am on Monday 18th October. Phoebe was absolutely huge during this pregnancy and we were surprised when she only produced 4 kittens, but to be fair they are all whoppers. I must confess that I slept through the birth of the first 3 kittens and woke up for the 4th and final kitten to be born. All three kittens were suckling when I woke up and to my surprise the third kitten was still attached to mum by his placenta, so obviously very hungry babies. There are 3 quite different colours in the 4 kittens, so it will be interesting to see what colours Phoebe has produced. One of the boys will be staying here as our new tonkinese stud boy for our own 3 girls and possibly available to outside girls also. Our other mums are very good at disposing of the placentas and the umbilical cords, but Phoebe doesn't seem interested and leaves it to me to cut cords and dispose of the placentas, but she is a marvellous mum.

Week 1

I cannot believe how big these babies are, they are huge. I think we have 2 boys and 2 girls but will wait a little bit more before I post who is who. As for colours, I havent a clue yet. Miney has a very stripey head but I cant for the life of me think that he/she could be tabby!!! Their eyes are just starting to open, Eeny and Miney have both of their eyes open and the other two are starting to peep. They are moving around the box a bit more now and even came to the entrance of the nursery box yesterday to have a little nose out. I think these are going to be doing everything earlier than normal. They are lovely, healthy and content babies who dont even make a fuss when you pick them up.

Week 2
ok, I take it all back, bloody noisy things that they are.... Mo and Meeny walked straight out of the box last week and were wandering around the living room. I went in lunchtime today and all 4 of them were wandering around the living room. They aren't even supposed to be thinking about leaving the nesting box and here these lot are wandering around at least 2 weeks early, these are going to be a real handful, I can tell!!! I still dont have a clue what colour they are at the moment. I'm pretty sure that there are 3 boys and 1 girl and one of the kittens is definately a brown, which means one is either a chocolate or lilac and the other 2 are possibly blue. But I have been wrong on many occasions both about colour and sex so it is just a waiting game at the moment.

Week 3
Can you believe it, these babies are 3 weeks old already. The Welsh and The Gavin and Stacey Crew, were not impressed when they were taking a wander around the living room on Saturday. We moved them upstairs in the computer room for a week as Phoebe was not settling very well with them and they were crying a lot and also had a touch of diorrhea. Phoebe was put on antibiotics and now they are all fine and settled enough to come back downstairs. They are very curious about the world outside the box and are all absolutely gorgeous. The three different colours are quite striking. They are beginning to play with each other in the box and love being stroked by us. We will be weaning them at the end of this week but we might wait for the older kittens to go to their new homes first and for Ripley to have her puppies to make life a little bit easier for us. I have been terrible about getting pictures of these babies and I do apologise but it is absolutely manic here at the moment with the 2 older litters and Puppies due any day but I promise I will get some this week and post them on the website.

Week 4

I don't know what happened to week 4. I'm sure that I did a diary but I dont know what happened to it. I thought the kittens were older than 4 weeks lol. They are everywhere, very bold and adventurous. 1 blue girl, 1 chocolate boy, 1 blue boy and 1 brown boy. Mo likes to attack your ankles when you walk. They are not afraid of anything and are very sociable.

Week 5

They have been weaned onto kitten wet food and dry food. They were definately ready to try it and now join in the communal feeds with the older cats and kittens. Litter training is going a little slower, but they are only 4 weeks old. They love playing with Bishop's ears and tail and bless him he just lays there and puts up with it. These kittens are so bold, they are trying the stairs and wander all over the house by themselves. They play with the older kittens and cats. They seem much older than they are. We had a visit today from Miney's new family. They fell in love with him and I think the feeling was mutual. The rest of the Decision's slept throught the whole visit.

Week 6

Eeny is a lovely blue mink boy who is staying with us as our new stud boy, Meeny is a beautiful blue mink girl who is extremely playful and full of mischief, Miney has the most lovely face and colour, he is a brown boy who has been adopted. He absolutely loves cuddles and hanging out with the older kittens and last but not least is Mo who is full of mischief like his sister. They are all on dry and wet food and are litter trained. They can climb the cat tree, the stairs and just about anything that doesn't move including Bishop sometimes. They love following the older kittens around and curling up with them or the dogs, but mainly they like curling up with us. They have now discovered that they can climb in with the puppies and jump on them and start trying to play fight with them. The poor puppies who are only 2 1/2 weeks old are helpless under the attack but I have a feeling things will be changing rapidly in the next week or so and the kittens may not be so quick to jump in with them. Meeny and Mo are still looking for their new forever families.

Week 7

These kittens are just so nice, they have lovely gentle personalities while at the same time, are extremely playful. They have no problems wrestling with our older kittens Dakota and Phoenix and even wrestle the puppies. I do however, object to them using my legs as a climbing post to get up onto the couch as it really hurts. The colours on these kittens are just stunning. Their mother however, is a different story. She is letting, not only her 4 kittens suckle from her, but I caught Dakota and Phoenix suckling as well. Not only that but I caught Summer, our 1 year old Tonkinese girl suckling also. I have started feeding the puppies now because they are being weaned off their mother who has mastitis bless her and the kittens are eating their food as well as their own.

Week 8

I love these kittens, they are just such lovely natured kittens, you can do absolutely anything with them and they dont fuss or mind. They are playing with the puppies now when the puppies are out and about, well I say playing, they lay there and let the puppies maul them, but they dont move out of the way and remain laying there after they have been rescued. I have had a couple of enquiries on Mo our chocolate mink boy, but the last enquiry I had from a lady in Caerphilly, the email address to reply to you keeps bouncing back, so if you are reading this, please call me. They have learned to stay away from the Christmas tree by us squirting them with the water pistol each time they touch it, it only took about 2 squirts and they now leave it alone. However, my christmas lights on the window are a different story.....

Week 9

Well I should be taking these babies to have their 1st vaccinations done this evening, but due to the amount of snow we have, I have had to cancel it and now of course we have christmas week when the vets is shut so its a bit of a nightmare at the moment. All the kittens are doing wonderful, they are absolutely gorgeous. I cannot believe Mo hasnt been snapped up he is lovely. Miney aka Oscar is getting more handsome as the weeks go by and has beautiful aqua eyes. Meeny aka Suki is extremely naughty and playful but very loving and Eeny is my handsome boy and he is going to make a lovely stud boy and I cant wait to show him, although I think he will be in competition with his sister as Meeny's new owner will be showing along side me lol, so that should be interesting. Hopefully I can reschedule the vaccinations this week, but I have 7 puppies that are supposed to be vaccinated on Thursday so we shall see how this all pans out....

Week 10

Well, thankfully we were able to get the vaccines done on Thursday morning. Everyone was very brave and all were declared fit and healthy by the vet. They are lovely, playful kittens, however, I am not very happy about them climbing up my curtains, this is the ONLY litter of kittens that have done that. I am off out today to buy new curtains and a new curtain pole because they have brought the lot down!!!!! It is so funny because we often find them curled up with the puppies in their pen. They even ventured outside this week but didnt stay out there too long as it was cold and they preferred the warmth of the radiators. I can't believe they will be leaving us in 3 weeks time, it seems like these 4 have always been here with us, they have fitted right in as part of the family, we will miss them terribly when they go, but we know that they have found great homes. Hopefully Mo will find a lovely family too.

Week 11

We had a kitten visit this morning from the Taunton family who have decided that Mo is the right one for them. We are so happy for him. They were all very well behaved for the visit, even with the puppies barking and whining so that no one could hear anything. They are having their final vaccinations next monday. I did explain to the Taunton family that I didnt think Mo was the sharpest tool in the shed as he gets in with the puppies several times a day and you will see him emerge covered in slobber and spit and he doesnt bat an eyelid. I think he does it for sympathy cuddles. Miney is as handsome as ever and just an absolute sweetheart, Meeny is a real curious, nosey, active girl hee hee (sorry Taz), but she does love her cuddles and Eeny is very similar in personality to Meeny but then we cant actually tell the two of them apart except for looking in a certain place for additional bits and pieces.

Week 12

I think all the new families are getting excited this week as it is only 4 more sleeps before Meeny and Mo get picked up to go to their new homes and 7 more sleeps for Miney's new family. Eeny is staying here and will be called Hunter, Meeny is going to Cornwall and will be renamed Suki, Miney is going to live in Bournemouth and will be known as Oscar and Mo will be going to live locally in Cardiff and will be called Tonks. I'm sure that their new families are going to love them as much as we do. It is very strange as we do not have any new kittens due so it is going to be fairly quiet in our house apart from the remaining puppies. The kittens have just come back from having their final vaccinations and all were very brave. This will probably be the last update on this litter's diary and hopefully we will have pictures of the kittens settled in their new homes to post soon.

Siamese and Oriental Kittens...

Introducing 'The Gavin and Stacey crew '

Born 4th August 2010, available to go to their new homes around the 13th November. The pregnancy went very well with no problems. Kali went into labour approximately 4.30pm and delivery Nessa at 5.05pm behind the settee in the playroom. We moved both Kali and Nessa to the birthing box and she proceeded to have the rest of them with no problems and no help, all within 2 hours. Mother and babies are all doing fine.

Week 1

Well what can I say about week 1. We have 6 healthy babies, 3 girls and 3 boys (Mick has now become Gwen). Smithy has a birth defect, he has the most adorable little twist at the end of his tail which I think makes him special, which I know other breeders may disagree because obviously he couldn't be shown as it is a major fault, but I think it makes him more interesting. They are very quiet, although Gavin was a bit of a screamer when we picked him up for his photo session. All of the kittens eyes are open and colours are starting to appear on the noses and ears of the siamese. I think we may have a couple of seal points in this litter. Kali is an excellent mother. There really isn't too much more to say because they don't do much at this age, although you really can watch them for hours, sleeping and feeding with all their little twitches and noises. This week has gone by so fast...

Week 2

The babies are all doing really well, quite tubby for orientals. They are beginning to explore the nursery box now on very shaky legs. They all have their eyes open and all attempt to hiss and spit at us when we check on them, it is just too funny. They are becoming little cats, washing their little paws, (thats if they can coordinate the movement). They are interacting with each other and washing each other. We did have everyone colour coded with nail polish, but Kali has licked it all off so we aren't sure who is who at the moment lol. I think we have 2 seal points and 2 chocolate points, which very nicely matches the havana and black oriental. They will be venturing out of the box next week. I shall look forward to it (I think).

Week 3

We think that Stacey is a blue point siamese, Gavin is a seal point, Nessa a black oriental, Smithy a Havana, and we believe that Bryn and Gwen are cinnamon point siamese. Nessa, Gwen and Gavin managed to sneak out of the nursery box. Kali was funny, she had her head on Smithy and Bryn and a paw on Stacey trying to stop them from following. She then pulled them all back in and told them all off. Gavin loves chin rubs, they are all very alert and have started playing and wrestling with each other. Gwen will be staying here as a show/breeding queen. The babies will be able to receive visitors the from the weekend of the 4th September.

Week 4

All the Gavin and Stacey babies have been moved down into the living room with 'The Welsh' which is much better for us as it is litter box training time and I was missing out on all their little plays etc while they were upstairs. Now however, we usually find Gwen and Bryn in with Un and Dau in Kaiya's nursery box and Tri is in with Kali and the rest of the G & S crew suckling away. The mums dont seem to mind which kittens they have as long as they have some. Smithy has been snapped up by Connie after several conversations over the phone and a visit will be following shortly and Gavin has been snapped up by a lovely couple who live just up the road from us.  Stacey is expecting visitors this weekend. We introduced food this week and Smithy took to it like a duck to water. Gavin has eaten some and Stacey had a try and spat it out. Bryn and Gwen didnt want to know at all. They play lovely with 'The Welsh' babies and are getting used to the extra noises and dogs etc downstairs. They are all fascinating to watch and when you come into the room they all come tumbling out, climbing over mum who tries to block the entrance.

Week 5

Gavin and Stacey are the first to do anything, first to explore, first to greet you when you come home closely followed by Nessa and Gwen. Nessa is already getting her sleeky, shiny black coat like her mums and Gwen is a little bully along with Gavin. Bryn likes to observe whats going on and assess the situation before he joins in, but once he does join in, then watch out. Smithy has the most adorable little face, with great big eyes and his tail usually looks like a bog brush with a little flag on the end as he explores the area. They have all discovered the stairs but I dont think anyone has made it all the way to the top yet. Gwen has managed to climb the cat tree and they all love the little triangle scratching toy that we have, these are available to buy from us if anyone wants one at a cost of £6.00 each. They are all eating both whiskas kitten pouches wet food and Royal Canin baby cat 34 dry food. They are all 98% litter box trained and I dont think it will be long before they venture out in the cat run because Smithy keeps looking out of the cat flap, he is fascinated by it.

Week 6

Nessa and Bryn have both been adopted. Bryn will be going to live with Gavin and Nessa will be living with Tri (The Welsh). They are growing up into lovely, elegant, little cats. They are not naughty kittens, they are very well mannered kittens, but I think that is because they have so many siblings and cousins to play with they dont have to be naughty and climb up my curtains etc. They have basically litter trained themselves and are 100% litter box trained. Little Stacey is now left to find a new family. She is a beautiful blue point siamese girl with a fabulous personality. She loves people. The pedigree names have been chosen and Gavin, fully deserves his as whatever he finds, be it a sock or a t-towel he drags it off behind the settee, growling at anyone who dare approach him. He had a feather stick toy in the nursery box with him that he had dragged in there and was just growling away at it. They are all fascinated by shoes and Ken's feet and can often be found sitting on Kens feet, he obviously doesnt need slippers as his feet are always nice and toasty. 3 more weeks and it will be the dreaded first vaccinations. We are away next week and I will miss them very much and probably worry myself stupid about them, but they are in very good hands.

Week 7

The kittens have been looked after by K9 Trek, Pontllanfraith, Blackwood. email k9trek@hotmail.com, website www.k9trek.co.uk. They have done a wonderful job, coming in a couple of times a day and texting me each time to let me know how everything was going. We have had a lovely holiday and can't believe how big the kittens have gotten in just 1 week. I will be adding more pictures this week..

Week 8

I know, I know, I havent added any new pictures, I will get some honestly, but they dont keep still for 5 minutes and when they are still, they are usually sleeping. What can I say to describe them all. I know, the word is HOOLIGANS!!!. They are everywhere. I have found them in the bath!!, behind the dryer!!, in boxes, in suitcases (too lazy to have put them away after our holiday lol) I don't even want to talk about my curtains and all the holes that are in them, or my blinds that they have broken!!! and NO, to all new families, your deposit is not refundable hahaha!!! But they are lovely, cuddly babies when they are sleepy. They are growing up into very elegant, handsome and beautiful little cats. Bryn talks when he eats, Nessa growls at everyone when she has a toy, Gavin steals things and hides them. Stacey is the little, petite girl out of the bunch, who gives as good as she gets. Smithy is just as handsome as can be and we have nicknamed him 'pink balls' (you can guess why lol) and is very loving and Gwen is into absolutely everything. We look forward to meeting Smithy's new parents this weekend.

Week 9

Smithy's new parents came to visit last weekend and they got on very well. They love his little crooked tail. They can now appreciate how hard it is to get pictures of these mad kittens. They move too fast and refuse to look at the camera. They had quite a time, trying to get pictures of Smithy and I think when they went home, they may have just had to piece together all the different body parts they managed to capture to get a full photo lol. Gavin spent a good 10 minutes chatting to them (he is a very talkative boy) you only have to say hello to him and he just chats away for ages. All the kittens were on their best behaviour. The kittens have had sticky eyes for the last week or so and are just about done with it. However, we are delaying the vaccinations until next week to make sure that they are all completely fine before having them. They are all growing quite big and sound like a herd of horses running around upstairs. Summer is loving all these little 'toys' that she gets to boss around and play with. Stacey is still quite small, but she is healthy and plays and eats the same as the others, so we are not concerned. They have been quite good this week. Limited swinging on the curtains. There are NO toys anywhere because Gavin has taken them and hidden them and apparently only he knows where they are and he is not telling anyone. Its quite funny now, because when you sit on the sofa in the night, you are usually covered in 9 kittens, who are allowing you to share the sofa with them.

Week 10

Very busy evening yesterday taking 9 kittens, 1 adult cat and 1 dog to the vets. He is very pleased with them all, and they were all very brave and well behaved. Their mother Kali, was also taken in as she has been spayed today and is doing fine and Ripley was taken in to check if she is pregnant or not, but disappointment as she has not caught this time. They are all tearaways and absolutely everywhere. I spent 15 mintues this morning trying to remove 6 kittens from the dogs room so that I could go to work. I would pick up 2, place them outside the baby gate, turn around for another 2, place them outside, turn around and there are 4 kittens there again!!!!! It went on like this for a while before I gave up and left everyone where they were. The dogs didnt seem to mind sharing their beds with them. Nessa and Smithy are so funny, you can always hear them growling away and find that they have raided the laundry basket and have a sock in their mouths carrying it around. Gavin and Bryn and just flirts, they rub on your and crawl up around your neck and snuggle in, then they give you a little lick and then they give you a nip, but they are so loving. Stacey is still small, but she is lovely and gives as good as she gets to her bigger brothers and sisters and when its food time, boy does she let you know!!! Gwen is doing fine, she is as big as her brothers and just as crazy.

Week 11

These kittens are gorgeous, they are big and muscular already. I am very pleased. Even little Stacey has started to catch up now. Of course they are eating me out of house and home and my poor wicker towel basket in the bathroom has taken a beating and is looking quite threadbare thanks to these lot. When they all pile together they take up a whole 2 seater couch. They are all extremely affectionate and like lots of attention, although Gavin can be a bit over zealous in his love especially when he is trying to eat your hair. When Phoebe was about to go into labour and was in and out of the nursery box. I kept checking on her and everytime I opened the box, there were kittens in there and at one time Smithy was even suckling from her the naughty boy. But since Phoebe has had the kittens they are respectfully keeping their distance from the box. They have all had a little sniff but do not dare to venture in.

Week 12

I have had the flu this week which is why this diary is a little bit late. Everyone is doing well and they are all behaving. Gavin stole my clothes out of the bathroom this morning, he definately suits his pedigree name. They have been playing with a box for the last 2 days and are having a great time with it. Two of the Decisions ventured out of the box last night and the older kittens were absolutely fascinated, licking and sniffing them, but they were very gentle. Kameko is back downstairs now as Kali has been rehomed so all the kittens are very wary of her as she is growling at them, I have told her that they are her grandchildren but she is not listening.

Week 13

Bryn is absolutely huge, he is so much bigger than everyone else and he cry's if you arent paying him enough attention. Gavin is the same. These boys are going to give their new parents a run for their money and poor Pandy (the resident siamese at the house) is going to have to put his foot down and keep these two in line. Stacey is the smallest but she is really very loving. Smithy is a big boy also, possibly or par size wise with Bryn and he insists on having a cuddle in the evenings. Nessa is fascinated by the TV and the pictures on the wall, much to my husbands dismay as she keeps trying to touch them. It is so funny in the evening because all the kittens settle down when we are watching TV and find a warm lap to curl up in. When I come in at lunchtime, I have 9 kittens all fighting to sit as close to me as possible and of course they all want to see what I am eating. And the good news is Grandma Kameko has come around because she is a total lap cat and she knows that if she wants to sit on my lap, she has to share it with all the kittens who are trying to sit there as well. I even found Kameko, Smithy and Gwen curled up together yesterday. Nessa, Tri, Smithy, Stacey and Dau are all going to their new homes next weekend and we will miss them terribly. Gavin and Bryn will be here for a couple more weeks and of course Gwen and Un are staying here with us and will be renamed Phoenix and Dakota. Next weekend is going to be really hectic with families coming to pick up kittens but also because Ripley our Shar Pei is due next weekend which is very awkward but we will manage somehow.

Tonkinese kittens.....

Introducing 'The Welsh'

Born 5th August 2010, available to go to their new homes around the 13th November. The pregnancy went well, although Kaiya did suffer with morning sickness throughout. She began nesting early this morning and proceeded to try and drag 'The Cars' in her nesting box, deliver in the drawer and behind the fish tank. Eventually she settled down and gave birth to her first boy at 5.00pm, 20 minutes later, we had a second boy and then 20 minutes after that the last and final kitten (a boy) was born). All have settled down and seem content.

Week 1

Well actually these babies are a week old tomorrow but to make it easier for myself I am doing them at the same time as the ori/siamese babies. I was really hoping for some blues from this litter and I don't think that I will be disappointed as their ear colours are changing already. We have some peepers in this litter, all of them have one eye open. They are very quiet at the moment, only making noise when mum comes back in to feed them. Their older sister Summer visits them everyday, she is very interested in the new additions and gives them lots of kisses. It will be very interesting when all 9 kittens are running around together and meet for the first time. All are doing fine and feeding well....

Week 2

I think we have 2 blues and a chocolate but that could still change as they get older. What we have discovered is that Tri is a boy not a girl which is disappointing as we planned to keep a girl out of this litter, never mind, the boys are cuddlier anyway lol. They are a little bit ahead of the Gavin and Stacey crew but I find the tonkinese always are a bit forward in their development. Un and Dau have been looking out of the entrance of the nursery box and I dont think it will be long until they venture out to explore the downstairs. Their big sister Summer doesn't just visit now, she climbs in with everyone and helps to look after the babies. They are walking around quite well and beginning to wrestle a little bit.

Week 3

The Welsh have become a noisy bunch. They are constantly in and out of the nursery box. We have put a basket in front of each nursery box to stop them wandering too far as it makes the mothers very nervous and they start moving them and hiding them when this happens. They are all fat, beautiful kittens. They have met the dogs and are completely unfazed, in fact Un was trying to follow Ripley around yesterday. Their sister Summer has even started suckling beside them, which is a problem as she is 8 months old and obviously shouldnt be suckling at that age and will take all her mothers milk so we have to monitor her constantly. These babies will be accepting visitors as of the weekend of the 4th September. Addition to this diary is that 2 of the tonkinese kittens are girls, Tri will be staying with us as a future show/breed queen.

Week 4

The Welsh have new playmates this week as the G & S crew have been moved downstairs. One of the tonks is often found suckling from Kali and in the G & S nursery box. They are running around now and playing and love to follow the dogs around. They are even starting to escape the living room and try to venture around the rest of the house but they are too little yet to do that. Im still not sure of colours yet, Tri is definately blue, but the other 2 look brown in certain lights, if they are by their mother the look blue, but when they are lying next to Bryn and Gwen who are stark white they look a dirty brown colour. Oh well, just have to wait to be certain. They have lovely little personalities and are going to be real charmers.  They have been introduced to wet kitten food this week and are not very impressed but I certainly am impressed by these three as they have gone straight to the kitten dry food and just gobble it up which makes weaning so much easier lol. Right I have made a decision to day, all three babies are girls (what was I thinking lol) and 2 are brown mink and 1 is a chocolate mink. One of the brown girls is staying here with us.

Week 5

These kittens are very bold, all of them sit on your feet and want to be picked up. They love the dogs and much to Bishop's dismay delight in using him as a climbing stool. They are thoroughly enjoying playing with all the 'G & S crew' and are not picky about which mother they drink from. Both mothers have given up trying to coral their children into the correct box and have all just jumped in together, feeding and cleaning whichever kitten needs it. All the Tonky kittens seem to prefer the dry food to the wet food and they are 98% litter box trained. They are absolutely adorable and have visitors coming to see them next week.  They are leading the siamese/oriental babies astray but then again that is a typical tonk lol

Week 6

Tri has been adopted and will be living with Nessa, our black beauty from the G & S crew. We are extremely excited about this adoption because the family intend to show both Nessa and Tri and we wish them every success on the show bench. Dau is still waiting to be adopted and has someone coming to meet her this weekend. I cant wait for their 'proper' colours to come through and their coats to be less fuzzy, although they are very cute at the moment, you cannot truly see the beautiful cats that they will become. Once again, they are fully litter trained and are very well behaved kittens. They love snuggling and playing, oh and of course sleeping lots. I am going to miss them so much next week when we go away...

Week 7

Thanks, once again to K9 trek for coming in everyday to look after the kittens and the adult cats. They have done a brilliant job and we are happy to recommend them and will definately be using them again in the future. More pictures coming soon...

Week 8

Well, its just little Dau that is left available now. I will start to advertise her this week and find her a new family. She is a lovely little girl. All three of the tonks are cuddlers and seek out a warm lap at the end of the day. They are hooligans, just like their cousins and join in with everything that they do. I'm not sure if the tonks are the leaders and lead the ori's and siamese astray or if it is the otherway around. The tonks seem to be the ones that are swinging from my curtains. I'm quite surprised that they haven't investigated the cat flap to the outside pen yet, but I dont think it will be too long before they do and I bet that it is the tonkinese leading the way. I will definately try to get new pictures this week, if they will keep still long enough for me to take them.

Week 9

The full colours of these kittens is coming through now and you can see they are going to be stunning. The aqua green eyes are starting to show and they are just fabulous against the dark brown of the face. All three tonkinese kittens have turned out to be brown and now have different colour nail polish dabbed in the ears to tell them apart. Dau is still available and will make a lovely pet/show neuter with TICA. She is loving and gentle just like her sisters are. The tonks are still leading the way in regards to mischief and it is more often them that are climbing up my curtains. They love playing with the siamese and oriental kittens and especially like following their big half sister Summer around.

Week 10

The vet was very pleased with them on their visit yesterday, they were very good. These three girls just get prettier and prettier everyday. Tri is never off your lap, as soon as you sit down, she jumps up and snuggles in and the other two are not far behind. They were all aggravating Phoebe this morning trying to play with her tail which really didnt go down too well as Phoebe is quite grumpy when she is pregnant and bless her she looks like a football with legs she is so big and uncomfortable. Dau comes and sits with me when I'm having my bath in the morning, she sits on the edge of the tub, she doesn't say much but keeps me company. Un is usually rushing around the house at top speed chasing the ori's and siamese babies or sneaking up on Summer. They were also part of the gang that gave me hassle this morning in the dogs room! They have started using the cat flap and going into the outside pen and enjoying the sunshine. I didn't think it would be too much longer.

Week 11

Gosh these 3 girls have become very naughty. They are now into feet and ankles and attack you as you walk down the hallway in the morning. All three cause havoc in the bathroom in the morning, all fighting to sit on the edge of the tub. Like the G & S crew they have also taken to snuggling in a huge kitten pile right outside my bedroom door so that I almost step on them when I open the door in the morning. There are beds everywhere, why they choose to sleep on the floor I have no idea. They are becoming prettier and prettier everyday and their eyes are absolutely stunning. I am please to say that my friend Sue who owns the kittens Dad is coming to see them on Saturday so hopefully they will be on their best behaviour for their other 'nana'

Week 12

We had a lovely visit with Sue and the 3 welsh girls were well behaved for her visit. Dau has now found a new home and will be going to live with Stacey and her new family which we are delighted about. They have been very good this week, all three still accompany me in the bathroom in the morning for my bath and Dau still sits on the edge of the tub. Im glad to say that we can now tell the kittens apart without nail polish now, there are subtle differences in all three girls.

Week 13

One of the tonks was climbing up my vertical blinds this week. I couldn't get a good look to see who it was.... naughty kitten. All three girls are lovely and join the siamese and orientals curling up in our laps when we are watching TV. They love their big sister Summer and are often found curled up with her in the laundry basket upstairs. Tri will be leaving with Nessa next weekend and Dau will be leaving with Stacey. It is so nice to know they are going with another kitten so they have the comfort of someone familiar with them as it is quite scary for little kittens going away from everything and everyone they know. All the families are lovely and I know that these kittens are going to have wonderful homes.

All of our kittens are raised in our home with our children and dogs. They are used to the usual household noises and are well socialized before they leave us at the age of 13/14 weeks.

They will have had their required vaccinations. (note we do not vaccinate against feline leukemia , as we feel it is too much for kittens this little to receive too many vaccinations at once), flea treatment if needed, wormed and vet checked at least twice prior to leaving.

They will be GCCF Registered, come with a kitty pack (food, toys, blanket etc), lifetime of advice, 5 generation pedigree and 4 weeks insurance. We are a FELV/FIV negative house.

We do ask all new owners to send us updates as the kittens grow and photos if possible and to make the committment to give these kittens a forever home.

Our kittens are sold to pet or show homes only. We very rarely sell our kittens on the active register.

New owners will be required to sign a kitten sales agreement at the time they pick their kittens up.

A deposit will hold your new kitten, This deposit is non-refundable unless we cannot supply the kitten for whatever reason.

We reserve the right to refuse to home a kitten if we feel that you cannot offer the right home for one of our babies.

Previous kittens can be seen below or on the kitten diaries above....
